yokai hunter (Hiruko: Yokai Hunter), which was made into a film by Shochiku Fuji in 1991 as Hiruko: Yokai Hunter, is a manga by Daijiro Moroboshi.
It is also known by the titles Hieda Reijiro Series and From Hieda Reijiro's Field Notes. The first series was serialized under the title Yokai Hunter in the famous Japanese weekly manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump from issue 37 to 41 in 1974.
